The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday prevented a sick Palestinian ex-prisoner from travelling to Turkey for urgent treatment.
A PIC news correspondent said the Palestinian ex-prisoner Zayd Sarhan diagnosed with liver cirrhosis was about to head to Turkey for urgent treatment after he received the approval of the Turkish authorities and completed all travel procedures.
The travel-ban was slapped on ex-prisoner Sarhan right as he reached the Karama crossing accompanied by his wife.
The ban was issued by the IOF under the security pretext.
Sarhan has reportedly gone through a health setback at the border crossing and was rushed to the Jericho hospital for urgent treatment.
