Israeli occupation forces (IOF) razed on Tuesday large areas of Palestinian lands in Jalud town south of Nablus and demolished a greenhouse in Bardala village in the northern Jordan Valley.
Ghassan Daghlas an official monitoring the settlement activity in the northern West Bank said in a press statement that several towns in the southern countryside of Nablus are witnessing extensive bulldozing in order to expand eight Jewish settlements and construct more housing units for settlers.
He added that two days ago bulldozing work was carried out in the Svut Rachel settlement in Jalud town in Basin No. 13 in order to prepare the land for building more housing units.
In another development the owner of a greenhouse in the Jordan Valley Muhammad Sawafta said that the IOF bulldozers razed the facility on Tuesday.
Last week IOF notified Sawafta that the agricultural facility would be demolished within 96 hours.
