Israeli occupation forces (IOF) conducted military drills with live ammunition in Khirbet al-Tawil hamlet north of Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
Yousef Derieh member of the anti-settlements committee in Nablus told Quds Press that IOF soldiers on Tuesday morning started military drills with live ammunition.
He noted that IOF troops did not notify people of these military exercises and how long they would continue leading to a state of panic and alert among the inhabitants. Rather the drill was carried out even though the area is populated with Palestinians.
He pointed out that the hamlet comes under repeated Israeli attacks as many houses and other structures have been demolished at the pretext of lacking construction permits.
