The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday evening stormed the hamlet of Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley and embarked on evacuating the local families from their homes by force.
According to local sources the IOF stormed the hamlet as the families were eating their Ramadan Iftar meals following the sunset call to prayer and forced them to leave their homes at the pretext that they would carry out military drills in the area.
Last week the IOF displaced three families in the hamlets for four days from eight o’clock in the evening to nine in the morning of the following day.
Chief of the hamlet’s municipal council Abdul-Majeed Khudairat accused the Israeli army of practicing terrorism against the local residents and ignoring any humanitarian considerations when dealing with them.
