A Palestinian young man was reportedly injured at dawn Saturday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the Old City of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Local sources said that a large number of Israeli troops stormed the Old City of Nablus from different directions and spread in its streets after soldiers from a special unit already infiltrated into the area.
They added that the Israeli forces encircled and raided several homes in the area and clashed with resistance fighters.
The armed groups of Balata Brigade and Lions’ Den announced that their fighters clashed with Israeli forces in the Old City of Nablus and targeted them with a number of homemade explosive devices.
Later the Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided on-site medical assistance for one young man after he suffered a bullet injury in his leg before transferring him to Rafidia Hospital.
Meanwhile the IOF kidnaped two young men from their homes during its campaign in the city before releasing them later.
