Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the southern and central Gaza Strip on Sunday.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers stationed in military watchtowers at the Sofa army base opened their heavy machine-gun fire towards agricultural lands to the east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip and fired teargas bombs at the farmers.
“Meanwhile IOF soldiers in Abu Mutabiq military site opened fire at Palestinian herders east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip forcing them to leave the area” the sources added.
The IOF regularly opens fire at Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the Gaza border areas.
