The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning opened their gunfire at Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the eastern and northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli navy gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing off northern Gaza shore.

Gazan fishermen are routinely harassed by the Israeli navy under the pretext of exceeding the permitted fishing distance (9 nautical miles). The fishermen constantly face the risk of being injured killed or kidnapped.

Local residents said that the IOF soldiers deployed at the borderline east of Juhor ad-Dik village to the southeast of Gaza city opened fire at farmers and sheep herders forcing them to leave their lands. No injuries were reported.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning opened fire at Palestinian farmers and fishermen during separate incidents in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli navy forces opened their machinegun fire at fishermen sailing off the Gaza City shores.

Israeli forces deployed at borderline military outposts east of Juhr al-Deik village in the central Gaza Strip also opened fire at farmers who were working on their land.

There were no reports of casualties in both attacks.

People of Gaza come under daily attack from Israeli army and naval forces who interfere in their daily quest for livelihood.

GAZA (PIC)– The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened their gunfire Saturday morning in two separate incidents at Palestinian fishermen and farmers in Gaza.

No casualties were reported during the two attacks.

Quds Press quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Israeli soldiers stationed at the border areas east of Shijaiya neighborhood in Gaza City opened heavy fire at Palestinian farmers and local homes in the border area.

The border area has also witnessed unusual movements of Israeli military vehicles with Israeli drones flying over the area the sources added.

Meanwhile Israeli gunboats targeted Palestinian fishing boats while sailing off Gaza shores.

No injuries were reported during the attack.

Israeli forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement reached on August 26 2014 between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance under Egyptian mediation.
