The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning opened fire with no reason at Palestinian farmers as they were working their lands in the east of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza.

According to local sources soldiers opened machinegun fire from their border post at the farmers. There was no information if any one was hurt in the shooting attack.

The attack caused panic among the farmers and forced them to leave the area.

Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking and sometimes injuring and killing civilians farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis without any shred of respect for any ceasefire deal in Gaza or even the international law.

According to media sources soldiers opened machinegun fire from border watchtowers near the Abu Raida Gate in the east of Khuza’a with no reported casualties.

The gunfire attack caused panic among the farmers and forced some of them to leave their plots of land.

According to local sources the intensity of the shooting forced the farmers to leave their lands.

Luckily no one was injured in the gunfire attack.
