Israeli occupation forces (IOF) targeted Palestinian farmers and fishermen while working in different areas of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers manning military watchtowers to the east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip opened indiscriminate gunfire and teargas canisters at Palestinian farmers tending to their fields forcing them to abandon their lands.
In a related incident Israeli navy gunboats opened heavy machinegun fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the northern Gaza Strip and blocked their work.
The IOF targets Palestinian fishermen farmers and shepherds on daily basis and prevent them from earning their living.
