The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) ordered the demolition of the family house of the prisoner Asaad Al-Rifai in the village of Rummana west of Jenin in the northern West Bank on Thursday evening.
Family sources affirmed that the IOA ordered the demolition of the 100-sq house leaving seven family members homeless.
The family was given seven days to evacuate the house before its demolition.
Last May Israeli occupation forces arrested Asaad Al-Rifai along with Subhi Sbeihat following a huge manhunt for being allegedly involved in the Elat shooting attack.
Demolishing the homes of relatives of Palestinians involved in anti-occupation attacks is prohibited collective punishment and is one of the most extreme measures used by the IOA.
