Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday launched large-scale home raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens.
Local sources said that the IOF arrested at least six Palestinian citizens after breaking into their homes and wreaking havoc on them in Jenin Tulkarem al-Khalil and Jerusalem.
In Jerusalem the IOF stormed al-Isawiya town and attacked the Palestinian youths who confronted the raid with rubber-coated metal bullets tear gas canisters and stun grenades.
The Palestinian youths responded by throwing Molotov cocktails and launching fireworks. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile a Palestinian citizen was wounded when a group of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian cars on a road between Nablus and Qalqilya with rocks.
Several cars were partially damaged in the attack and one Palestinian citizen suffered minor injuries according to the Palestinian Information Center’s reporter.
