Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during campaigns and home raids in different areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the IOF arrested 18 Palestinian citizens in al-Khalil Tubas Jerusalem Tulkarem Jenin and Ramallah.
The same sources said that the IOF raided several Palestinian homes and wreaked havoc on them in the reported areas.
In Jenin the IOF kidnapped a father and his son and stole a sum of money from their house they added.
Violent clashes broke out between the IOF and local youths as the former stormed al-Am’ari refugee camp in Ramallah and attacked Palestinian homes.
The IOF met the angry youths with tear gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets but no injuries were reported.
The IOF arrest campaigns are witnessed on a daily basis in the West Bank and Jerusalem and most of the time Palestinian citizens are arrested arbitrarily with no charge or apparent reason.
