IOF raids homes kidnaps citizens during W. Bank dawn campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday kidnapped Palestinian citizens from their homes and clashed with young men during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops stormed al-Rajbi neighborhood near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil city and kidnapped a young man called Saleh Abu Farwa after ransacking his home.

They added that an Israeli military force also raided several homes in Qaizun area east of al-Khalil and brutalized their residents without making arrests.

Meanwhile soldiers reportedly tried to raid homes in al-Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil but local young men confronted them and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at them.

Locals reported that one child suffered an injury when the soldiers fired bullets and tear gas grenades to disperse the young men in the camp.

Similar clashes took place in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil during violent IOF raids on homes there.

Another IOF campaign also happened in al-Samua town south of al-Khalil where soldiers broke into and searched homes a mosque and stores. No arrests have been reported.

In Jerusalem an Israeli police force launched dawn raids on homes in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque and rounded up two minors.

The young detainees were identified as Mohamed al-Awar 16 and Islam al-Natsheh 15.

In Ramallah the IOF stormed two homes in Beitunia town and confiscated security camera recordings from them.

Skirmishes also broke out between youths and soldiers during the IOF campaign in Beitunia.
