JENIN (PIC)– IOF troops have kidnapped Sheikh Khaled Al-Haj one of the Hamas political leaders in the city of Jenin on Thursday after besieging then breaking into his home according to his wife.
She said that the soldiers sealed off the entire suburb of Al-Iskan before storming their family home and arresting Haj along with his computer and one of his neighbors Ghassan Al-Zughaibi.
The Hamas Movement denounced the arrest of Haj charging that his arrest targeted igniting civil strife in the Palestinian arena in view of the Sheikh’s well known efforts in bridging gaps among various factions.
Haj was released from Israeli occupation jails in August 2005 after spending more than three and a half years under administrative detention orders without trial or charge.
