The Israel Prison Service (IPS) on Sunday transferred the Palestinian prisoner Abdullah al-Barghouti from Gilboa Prison to another undisclosed prison sources revealed to Quds Press.
Prisoner al-Barghouti was originally transferred to Gilboa after waging a hunger strike for 14 days.
Last September al-Barghouti’s family managed to visit him for the first time since he was detained in 2003. The visit lasted 40 for minutes and the family was only allowed to speak to him from behind a glass barrier.
Al-Barghouti is serving 67 life imprisonment sentences and 5200 years the longest sentence ever recorded in the history of mankind.
