Palestinian prisoner Ibrahim Hamed a senior Hamas military leader has called on al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas to make more efforts to extract the freedom of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails expressing his confidence in them.
“The 12th anniversary of my detention has come while I am fighting a battle against the occupation behind walls with an empty stomach. We aim through this hunger strike to extract our legitimate human rights” Hamed said in a letter published by the website of al-Qassam Brigades.
He also addressed the Palestinian masses outside the Israeli jails saying that the Palestinian prisoners need their support to confront their harsh incarceration conditions.
“You are the support we need outside the prisons’ walls. We are waiting for your organized revolution against the usurping occupation” he said.
