A Palestinian young man died on Wednesday afternoon from wounds he sustained after being shot while taking part in the Great Return March two weeks ago.
Spokesman for Gaza’s Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qedra said that Naji Ghneim 23 was shot by an Israeli sniper two weeks ago east of Rafah southern Gaza and was transferred to Jerusalem for treatment.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned the death of Ghneim and announced that his funeral procession will set off from Bader Mosque in Rafah city.
The Israeli occupation forces have killed over 125 Palestinian civilians and injured thousands since the start of the Great Return March protests along Gaza’s eastern border.
