Injuries during Friday clashes in West Bank

Dozens of Palestinians were wounded during confrontations that broke out on Friday between Palestinian citizens and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in various areas of the West Bank.

Ahmed Jibril director of the Red Crescent Emergency Center in Nablus stated that IOF fired live bullets rubber-coated metal bullets tear gas canisters and sound bombs at the young men in Mount Sobeih in Beita south of Nablus.

A citizen was injured by live bullets in his mouth and his health condition was described as moderate. 17 others were wounded with rubber-coated metal bullets while others suffered breathing problems.

Meanwhile eyewitness reported that IOF stormed the Mount Al-Alam area north of Ni’lin and started firing live bullets and gas bombs at the residents.

The young men responded and set fire to car tires and threw stones at the IOF soldiers. Dozens of Palestinians were injured.

Furthermore IOF quelled the weekly march of Kafr Qaddum east of Qalqilya by firing gas bombs at the marchers.

Many citizens suffered breathing difficulties and a young man was arrested according to the local sources.
