Two Palestinians were injured in clashes that erupted Saturday afternoon between Palestinians and Jewish settlers who were escorted by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in Ourif town south of Nablus city.
Fawzi Shehada who witnessed the clashes told the PIC reporter that a group of settlers of Yitzhar settlement stormed for the third week in a row the eastern area of the town and attacked Palestinian homes.
The inhabitants rushed to the area in order to confront the attacking settlers leading to violent clashes. Meanwhile the IOF soldiers offered protection for the settlers.
Some of the fanatic settlers pushed the Palestinian man Hussein al-Nouri from the rooftop of his house. He was injured after falling down Shehada said.
The IOF troops heavily opened gunfire and unleashed tear gas grenades at protesters. A young man sustained a rubber bullet injury he added.
