A rally was staged by the International Campaign to Lift the Siege on Gaza outside the headquarters of the Malaysian government in Kelantan.
Kelantan’s deputy prime minister and chairman of the campaign’s board delivered an opening address at the gathering which was attended by 3000 Malaysian nationals and senior political leaders.
An arts exhibition embodying the tragic fallouts of the Israeli siege on Gaza figured at the event.
The speakers called on the international community and concerned institutions to take up their duties vis-à-vis the Palestinians trapped in the coastal enclave of Gaza and to work on lifting the siege with no further delay.
