The Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza Strip decided on Monday to ease movement restrictions via Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.
“From Monday morning travel through the Beit Hanoun crossing will be permitted temporarily for some categories” a statement from the ministry said.
All categories would be allowed to enter Gaza the statement said but those leaving would remain restricted to the sick women of all ages and families of prisoners.
Males who have an Israeli permit to leave the Strip would be restricted to those under 15 and over 45 according to the statement.
The Ministry earlier decided to close the border crossing completely on Sunday following the assassination of Mazen Fuqaha a leading member of al-Qassam Brigades.
