Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif sent a congratulation letter to Ismail Haneyya on his election as head of Hamas Political Bureau.
The PIC reporter in Tehran revealed that Dr. Jabri Ansari the Foreign Minister’s Assistant handed Hamas representative in Tehran Khaled al-Qaddoumi the congratulation letter.
Zarif in his letter wished Haneyya good luck and affirmed his country’s continuous support for the Palestinian people’s resistance. He also hailed Palestinian martyrs.
