Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya received on Monday a phone call from Iranian foreign minister Hussein Abdollahian during which the latter offered his condolences over the Palestinian citizens who were martyred during the last Israeli aggression against Gaza.
According to Haneyya’s office Abdollahian applauded the Palestinian resistance for its major role in confronting the Israeli occupation state and defending its people and land.
The foreign minister reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance at the political and field levels and pointed to the diplomatic efforts that were made recently by his country to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza.
For his part the Hamas leader expressed his appreciation for Iran’s positions its unlimited support for the Palestinian resistance and its recent efforts to curb Israel’s aggression and expose its crimes in Gaza.
Haneyya affirmed that the Palestinian resistance factions would always remain united in their struggle against the occupation politically and militarily.
