Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Wednesday received a phone call from Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf in which the latter reiterated his country’s rejection of the US deal of the century and the Israeli annexation plan.
Ghalibaf affirmed Iran’s readiness to support the Palestinian people’s steadfastness in the face of the annexation plan and help in the efforts to thwart it.
For his part Haneyya asserted that the Palestinian people are united against the annexation plan and adherent to their legitimate rights.
He also said that the Palestinian people would continue their struggle in order to foil all projects targeting their national cause.
