Islamic Jihad Movement staged a massive march on Friday calling for lifting the Gaza siege and ending the internal division. The Movement asked Fatah and Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas to cancel the punitive measures pursued against the Gazan people.
The Islamic Jihad leader Khaled al-Batsh called as well for applying Cairo Agreements (2005 2011) and asked Hamas Movement to dismantle the governmental administrative committee in Gaza.
Batsh also asked Abbas to send a delegation to Gaza in order to convene with Hamas Movement along with other national factions. He warned the PA and Fatah Movement of holding the National Council without consensus.
