The Israeli occupation army has claimed that a projectile was fired from the Gaza Strip on Friday evening towards neighboring settlements.
Spokesman for the Israeli army Avichay Adraee said on Twitter that warning sirens were heard in the Gaza envelope settlements after a projectile was launched from the coastal area.
No resistance faction in Gaza declared itself responsible for the alleged attack.
The Israeli army for its part has deployed more Iron Dome batteries in anticipation of any escalation after a Hamas fighter was shot dead on Gaza border on Thursday.
