Israeli settlers on Thursday crept into a mosque in Yasouf town south of Nablus province before they were caught by Palestinian locals.
Reporting from the northern occupied West Bank province of Nablus a PIC news correspondent said two Israeli settlers attempted to desecrate Yasouf’s mosque before they were detected and detained by the locals.
Heavily-armed Israeli soldiers showed up in the area and acquitted the settlers without interrogation.
Israeli settlers are often caught as desecrating holy sites and vandalizing Palestinian property across the occupied territories. However they hardly if ever get prosecuted by the Israeli forces and authorities.
