The Israeli occupation army overnight Saturday sealed off access roads to Nablus province with military checkpoints and subjected Palestinians to intensive inspection.
According to eye-witnesses Israeli patrols pitched a flying checkpoint on the Nablus-Jenin thoroughfare near Sebastiya town north of Nablus and searched Palestinian cars.
Another checkpoint was set up at Hawara’s northern entrance near the southern bypass road leading to the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar.
The occupation forces further closed off the Hawara checkpoint blocking Palestinians’ free access out of the area for at least half an hour.
