A Hebrew newspaper has revealed an Israeli plan to build a new neighborhood for Jewish settlers in the central area of Occupied Jerusalem.
According to Calcalist newspaper a new neighborhood composed of hundreds of homes and offices as well as other facilities will be built for settlers near Malha Mall in central Jerusalem.
The newspaper said that the Israel land authority seeks approvals for the construction of sports facilities several 24-story apartment buildings 250 protected housing units and hundreds of offices and commercial facilities and stores in the new neighborhoods.
The plan will be referred soon to the Jerusalem district planning and building committee the newspaper added.
A few days ago the Israeli municipality announced a plan to build 900 housing units for setters in the illegal settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev.
