Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday night released the head of al-Quds TV channel’s West Bank office Alaa al-Rimawi from Ofer jail on “harsh terms”.
According to local sources al-Rimawi will remain under house arrest and will not be able to practice his job for two months. He was also ordered to pay a bail of 10000 NIS.
Israeli occupation forces arrested al-Rimawi on 30th July along with three other journalists who were released later on different conditions.
Israel had earlier announced the Lebanon-based al-Quds channel a “terrorist organization” and banned its work in Jerusalem and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
