Israel demolished 420 Palestinian structures in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem in 2017 according to the UN Office for Coordination and Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
In a report issued today OCHA said 278 structures were razed in the West Bank displacing 602 Palestinians.
A total of 142 Palestinian structures were demolished in occupied East Jerusalem displacing 223 Palestinians the UN office said.
All in all around 2000 Palestinian homes were razed by the Israeli occupation authorities in the West Bank and and East Jerusalem over the past 12 years.
