Israeli military court of Salem decided Wednesday to release Former Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Affairs Wasfi Qabaha from Megiddo Israeli jail after serving an 8-months sentence.
His family told the PIC reporter that Qabaha has served 14 years in Israeli prisons mostly in administrative detention.
Israeli occupation forces arrested Qabaha who is from Bartaa town in Jenin shortly after he was released from Israeli jails last year.
His son Usama was however arrested within the Israeli latest arrest campaign in search for al-Qassam Brigades fighter Ahmad Jarrar who was killed on Tuesday.
