Israel’s so-called Settlements Council in the West Bank has announced its intent to confiscate dozens of dunums of Palestinian agricultural land in Jenin district to expand a settlement and build a resort for Jewish settlers.
Based on a statement by the council it is planning to build a recreation resort on a 37-dunum area near Reihan Settlement.
The project has been approved by the council’s chairman Yossi Dagan.
The Israeli occupation authorities established nine Jewish-only settlements that have engorged over 100000 dunums of privately-owned land in Jenin’s villages.
