Israeli army razes activists’ makeshift homes near Khan al-Ahmar

Thursday 13-September-2018

The Israeli occupation army’s civil administration demolished at dawn Wednesday five temporary homes built by Palestinian activists near Khan al-Ahmar village whose residents are threatened with displacement.

A few days ago local activists set up structures in a plot of land between Khan al-Ahmar and the illegal settlement of Kfar Adumim and lived in them to protest the Israeli court decision to raze the village and displace its residents.

The civil administration claimed that the five homes were built by representatives from the Palestinian Authority in protest at the high court of justice’s decision to allow the demolition of the village and Israel’s control of Area C of the West Bank.
