Israeli bulldozers demolish two car repair shops south of Nablus

Monday 28-December-2020

Israeli bulldozers demolished on Monday morning two Palestinian car repair shops in Lubban Asharqiye town south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that the Israeli bulldozers accompanied by several military patrols demolished the two repair shops on the main street between the cities of Nablus and Ramallah.

The two shops are owned by the citizens Jihad Aweys and Raja Daraghmeh.

Lubban Asharqiye is located in the Nablus province and is surrounded by several Israeli settlements and outposts including the Ma’ale Levona settlement. This settlement was established in 1980 and now it occupies more than 2000 dunums of the village’s land with 800 settlers living in it.

Ma’aleh Levona settlement began as an outpost on the village’s lands in an area called Hood Al-Batin and later expanded to include lands of two other villages.
