Israel’s Salem Military court west of Jenin province extended on Saturday the detention of the Islamic Jihad leader and anti-occupation activist Bassam al-Saadi.
Local sources said the Salem court ruled that al-Saadi aged 58 be kept in custody until November 1.
Al-Saadi was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces on March 19 in a manhunt launched across Jenin in the northern West Bank after he had been chased down for years.
Al-Saadi a father of two slain Palestinians has spent over 10 years in Israeli dungeons.
