Dozens of Palestinian worshipers suffered breathing problems after being targeted by an Israeli drone at al-Aqsa Mosque at dawn Thursday.
Eyewitnesses affirmed that Israeli police attacked the worshipers shortly after performing Laylat al-Qadr and the Fajr prayer at the holy shrine.
An Israeli drone also dropped teargas bombs on the worshipers the sources added.
Many worshipers were treated after suffering from teargas suffocation during the attack.
Following the Fajr prayer a big march was organized in the al-Aqsa courtyards where Palestinian flags were raised and pro-Aqsa slogans were chanted.
Islamic authorities in Jerusalem say 250000 people gathered to attend prayers at the al-Aqsa Mosque to mark Laylat al-Qadr.
