Israeli gunboats fired warning shots and opened water cannons at Palestinian fishing boats off the Gaza shores on Wednesday morning.

Local sources said that the Israeli gunboats opened fire at the Palestinian fishing boats while at work three nautical miles off the northwestern Gaza sea forcing them to return ashore.

Meanwhile Israeli occupation soldiers opened machinegun fire and teargas canisters at Palestinian farmers while tending to their land to the south east of Gaza city.

The farmers were forced to leave their land locals noted adding that no casualties were suffered.

Israeli occupation army deliberately fire random shots at the farmers near the northern and eastern borders of Gaza on semi daily basis in addition to harassing fishermen while at work.

Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning attacked Palestinian farmers and fishermen in the Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.

Local sources told Quds Press that the Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinian farmers working in their lands east of Khan Younis City in the southern Gaza Strip but no injuries were reported.

Meanwhile off the shore of Beit Lahia town in the northern Gaza Strip Israeli gunboats heavily fired live ammunition at a group of Palestinian fishermen who survived the attack.
