A Palestinian young man was killed by the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday in al-Khalil.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Yaser Shweiki died after being shot by the Israeli forces.
Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper claimed that Shweiki attempted to stab Israeli soldiers near a house that once belonged to a Palestinian family before it was taken over by Israeli settlers in al-Khalil.
The Israeli forces opened fire at Shweiki who allegedly was carrying a knife killing him instantly. No injuries were reported among the Israeli soldiers.
