Israeli prison forces stormed on Wednesday section No. 3 in Ashkelon prison and transferred the hunger-striking prisoner Muhammad Nawara to the isolation of Beersheba in an abusive step against him.
The Palestinian Commission for Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs reported that the Israeli prison forces attacked the prison section tampered with the prisoners’ personal belongings destroyed the cantina materials and conducted extensive searches.
The commission pointed out that the majority of the prisoners held in Ashkelon prison are sick prisoners some of whom suffer from chronic and serious diseases.
At dawn Tuesday the club said that Israeli prison forces raided the same section where 37 prisoners are being held.
The Israeli prison forces abused the prisoners destroyed their belongings and assaulted one of them in Room No. 5 after a clash erupted between the prisoners and the Israeli forces.
The storming lasted for seven consecutive hours during which all prisoners were tied up and taken out to the prison yard.
The club held the Israeli prison service fully responsible for the safety of the Palestinian prisoners in Ashkelon prison.
