A Palestinian youth was injured on Saturday by Israeli gunfire near Gaza border.

A local source reported that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a group of Palestinian citizens north of Beit Hanoun town in the northern area of the Gaza Strip injuring one of them.

Israeli media sources claimed that the Israeli forces opened fire at three Palestinians attempting to cross the border fence.

The injured youth suffered live bullet wounds in the higher part of his body and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A Palestinian youth was injured on Saturday evening after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces on Gaza border.

Local sources said that an 18-year-old Palestinian was shot in the right leg in the central Gaza Strip.

According to the same sources an ambulance transferred the wounded youth to a hospital in Deir al-Balah city for treatment.
