For the second time within 24 hours the Israeli occupation police confiscated on Wednesday afternoon a symbolic office belonging to Jerusalemite activist Mohamed Abul-Hems in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and assaulted several local residents and supporters.
Abul-Hems’ office was located on high ground in front of the tent of far-right Knesset member Itamar Ben Gvir.
Ben Gvir set up a tent office recently in Sheikh Jarrah as a provocative step against the Palestinian families living in the neighborhood.
According to local sources Israeli police forces stormed the area where Abul-Hems’ office was located and seized everything including chairs and forced local residents and supporters to leave after assaulting them.
