The Israeli occupation police on Saturday issued orders banning two Jerusalemite women from entering the Aqsa Mosque for several months.
According to local sources the police handed journalist Sundus Owais a notice ordering her to stay away from the Aqsa Mosque for three months.
Pro-Aqsa activist Ra’eda al-Khalili was also ordered not to enter the Mosque for five months.
Israeli police officers arrested journalist Owais late last months during her presence at the Aqsa Mosque but released her later.
For her part Ra’eda al-Khalili said she had been detained a few days ago at the Qishla detention center in Jerusalem where officers threatened to use force if she continued to stay with other women in the Mosque’s courtyards.
