The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed a mosque in Jenin’s southern town of Bir al-Basha Sunday afternoon and wreaked havoc on the site.
A PIC news correspondent said Israeli army troops rolled into Bir al-Basha town in several military jeeps and broke into Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque without prior notification before they rummaged into the site.
The Israeli soldiers climbed over the rooftop of the mosque and cordoned it off before they backtracked from the area.
At the same time a military checkpoint was pitched by the occupation forces on the Jenin-Nablus road in the town.
