Israeli tanks strike another resistance post east of Gaza

Saturday 31-March-2018

Israeli tanks after midnight Saturday opened artillery fire again at a resistance observation post east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

A field observer told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that a resistance post was struck by several artillery projectiles causing only material damage to the place.

Earlier on Friday afternoon the Israeli artillery targeted two resistance posts in eastern and northern Gaza.

A similar Israeli attack in the morning claimed the life of a Palestinian farmer and led to the injury of another east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

A medical source told the PIC that a farmer identified as Omar Sammour 27 was killed and another was seriously injured by Israeli tank fire east of Abasan town in Khan Younis.

15 Palestinians were also killed and more than 1200 others were injured by wanton Israeli gunfire during their participation in peaceful “marches of return” organized later in the afternoon in different border areas of Gaza.
