The Hamas Movement has stressed that the Israeli targeting of Palestinians all over the world constitutes systematic terrorism that requires international condemnation and prosecution.
In a press statement on Tuesday the Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum highly appreciated the efforts exerted by the Malaysian government and its security services to free a Palestinian computer programmer abducted by the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.
Spokesman Barhoum affirmed that kidnapping the Palestinian activist constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of Malaysia which is a haven for students from all over the world in a bid to tamper with its security and its guests’ wellbeing.
Barhoum called on the international community and the United Nations to condemn and criminalize such Israeli practices intended to jeopardize the security and stability of Palestinians urging them to prosecute Israeli leaders at international criminal courts for their crimes against the Palestinian people at home and abroad.
The Malaysian security services managed to arrest the kidnappers of the Palestinian activist who was kidnapped late last September the Malaysian newspaper New Straits Times revealed adding that the activist left Malaysia a few days after being rescued.
Mossad had recruited a cell of at least 11 Malaysians that focused on tracking down Palestinian activists the newspaper added.
