Israeli special forces unit—Yamas—stormed at daybreak Monday Section 4 in Ramon jail and cracked down on Palestinian detainees.

Overnight Palestinian detainees in Section 1 at Ofer lock-up were transferred to Section 25 at Negev jail under the pretext of routine search-sweeps.
The escalation makes part of suppressive measures pursued by the Israeli prison authorities to dampen the spirits of Palestinian prisoners in occupation jails.
