Israeli warplanes at predawn time Thursday launched eight air raids on the Gaza Strip sparking terror in the besieged enclave.
A PIC news correspondent said Israeli fighter jets fired two missiles toward two Palestinian resistance sites west of Khan Younis and Rafah. Sounds of heavy explosions were detected across the area.
Sometime later Israeli warplanes struck another resistance site north of the Gaza Strip.
Overnight the Israeli military claimed the iron dome anti-missile system intercepted a rocket fired from Gaza after red sirens were set off in the Eshkol and Merhavim settlement councils.
Hebrew-speaking Yediot Aharonot daily said a missile landed in an open-area in Eshkol. No injuries were reported.
