Jerusalemite researcher Jamal Amr banished from Aqsa for 10 days

The Israeli occupation police have issued a decision banning Jerusalemite researcher Jamal Amr from entering the Aqsa Mosque for 10 renewable days after detaining him for a while.

Amr’s son Radwan said that officers at the Moskobiya detention center in west Jerusalem interrogated his father about allegations of his involvement in media incitement regarding Jerusalem the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma area and Israeli settlement activity.

Police forces and intelligence officers from the Shin Bet on Sunday raided the house of Amr in ath-Thori neighborhood in Silwan in order to arrest him but when he was not at home they handed his family a summons ordering his immediate appearance at the Moskobiya center.

Last November the Israeli police stormed the house of Amr and kidnaped his son Radwan who works as head of the manuscripts department at the Aqsa Mosque before releasing him on condition of staying away from the Mosque for six months.

The police confiscated computers cellphones documents and books from the house when they kidnaped Radwan.
