The Israeli occupation police on Wednesday continued for the second consecutive day to prevent the Jerusalemite worshipers from outside the Old City from performing the Dawn prayer at the Aqsa Mosque.
According to local sources the Israeli police intensified the presence of their forces at and around the entrances to the Old City and the Aqsa Mosque and only allowed those who are from the Old City to reach the Mosque for the Fajr prayer.
Hundreds of Jerusalemites from neighborhoods and areas around the Old City were denied access to the Aqsa Mosque as part of escalating repressive practices aimed at reducing the number of Muslim worshipers and taking over the holy site.
